Our team at Griffco headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia recently had the opportunity to give back to our local community by packing meal kits and snack packs for MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program. This incredible program delivers meal kits to children who rely on free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch during the school year, ensuring they have access to food during the summer. This summer, MUST is providing breakfast and lunch to over 7,500 children across Metro Atlanta for nine weeks. The team had an absolute blast packing more than 1,400 snack packs and meal kits for our young neighbors in need. Recently Completed: 495,000 SF Cold Storage Campus in Union City, GA We're thrilled to have been Saxum Real Estate's design/build partner on this incredible facility! The campus spans 495,000 total SF across two buildings: Building 1 covers 306,402 SF with 46 dock positions, while Building 2 offers 188,455 SF with 36 dock positions. Both buildings feature convertible freezer and cooler spaces ranging from -20°F to +40°F.   Our team collaborated with a specialty foods company to deliver tenant improvements in Building 2, including office spaces, customized finishes and a demising wall with a frost ribbon to ensure regulated temperature controls between freezers. Building 1 was previously completed, designed and constructed to support Arcadia Cold's high-volume throughput storage and handling services.   This strategic location allows food distribution to 5+ million people within an hour's drive and reaches more than 20% of the U.S. population within a day's drive. We enjoyed a delicious crawfish boil prepared by the master chef Ross Gaudet,CHST and cheered on the golf shootout participants, including the champion, Daniel T. Corell. Strategically located off of bustling GA Highway 211, the Springhill Suites also offers easy access to Braselton’s premier destination, Chateau Elan.
