Industry leader in reference data for utility-scale solar development and operations
About us
GroundWork specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of solar monitoring stations for utility-scale solar power plant developers and owner/operators. These on-site solar meteorological stations can greatly improve the bankability of a project in the development cycle, and meet ISO and other regulatory requirements in the plant environment for performance evaluation and forecasting. We are a value-added reseller for Campbell Scientific, EKO, Hukseflux, Irradiance, Kipp & Zonen and Lufft. GroundWork offers GroundWatch, a best-in-class meteorological operations & maintenance and data quality assurance program, developed in conjunction with National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Our qualified data sets have been used in support of resource assessments and energy production analysis performed by many of the independent engineers. In turn, our clients have built 45+ gigawatts of solar at those project sites.
