As trial counsel in 2023, Mrs. Vallero obtained a $1.8 million jury verdict for a female TV anchor who suffered discriminatory pay disparity by her employer, KUSI. The Dixon Firm and Gruenberg Law filed a class action lawsuit against SANDAG for charging improper tolls and threatening penalties for false violations against San Diegans relating to Toll Road 125. As alleged, SANDAG knew its accounting system had numerous errors and failed to fix it, continuing to charge drivers who did not drive on Toll Road 125, and imposing penalties on drivers that had valid transponders for the Toll Road and should not have been charged. The Dixon Firm and Gruenberg Law believes thousands of residents of California were affected by the faulty accounting and transponder system and will benefit from the class action.
