Thank you to the National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP) for giving us the opportunity and the space to share about our strategic planning process. We learned so much from community which is ingrained in our work to provide holistic support through funding, capacity building, and coalition building, to organizations who have a shared vision of an equitable, just, and vibrant Central Jersey Shore. Special thanks to the Novalia Collective for guiding us through the strategic planning process!
While the Grunin Foundation always funded in a relationships-focused way, they were surprised to find that putting more—though still minimal—processes in place helped strengthen their relationships with grantees and nonprofits in the community. This realization came about through a comprehensive strategic planning process they carried out in 2023. In this blog, Grunin Foundation Director of Communications Kelly F. outlines the foundation’s transparent planning process and its results. Including: 🔵 Their new focus on outcomes 🔵 Shifting to multi-year operating support 🔵 Providing greater access to leadership Read it here: https://lnkd.in/esrVNkU8
