The Gobi platforms, equipped with VNIR #Hyperspectral, #LIDAR, and #RGB sensors, will enable mobile plant phenotyping to collect national data assets that complement other field trials, controlled environments, and other laboratory assets. APPN is a "distributed network of national research infrastructure platforms offering open access to state-of-the-art plant phenomics technologies, tools, and expertise not available at this scale or breadth in the public sector anywhere else in the world." The APPN is supported by the Australian Government's National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), Australian State governments, and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). APPN CEO @RichardDickmann shared, "APPN is delighted to partner with GRYFN to deploy their Gobi system across Australia. It will bring a new level of sensor resolution, integration, and positioning. We are expecting heavy demand for this best-in-class capability."
