We're thrilled to share this spotlight from NAMC featuring Traci Webb, our Director of Business Development and Marketing here at GS Engineering.   Traci’s comments really shine a light on how NAMC supports small businesses like ours. Her insights about the Board's role in securing funding details and pushing for fair response times are spot-on and highlight just how important this advocacy is.   Thank you, Traci, for your hard work and for representing GS Engineering so well. We’re proud to have you on the NAMC Board and appreciate all you do! 👏   #GS_Engineering #NAMC #Leadership #BusinessDevelopment #SmallBusinessAdvocacy

Meet Traci Webb, Director of Business Development and Marketing at GS Engineering and a member of the NAMC Board of Directors. When asked about her experience on the Board, Traci said, "Until I was elected to the Board of Directors, I had no idea that NAMC actively seeks greater detail, encourages the Government to indicate anticipated funding levels, and advocates for reasonable response times on Draft and Final RPPs. As a small business, GS Engineering has finite resources and this member-focused advocacy is essential to our success. Every opportunity to network is a good one, and NAMC creates many opportunities." Thank you for sharing your valuable perspective, Traci. We're honored to have you on NAMC's board.

Congratulations to ALL student teams who participated in Michigan Technological University’s 24th annual Design Expo on April 16th! And a special congratulations to those who earned awards! GS Engineering is proud to have participated, with seven of our employees volunteering as event judges. With 100 teams in attendance, Design Expo showcased an impressive display of student teamwork, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving. We had the opportunity to engage with an array of exceptional projects, each highlighting the incredible talent and dedication of Michigan Tech’s students. Among the projects judged, just a small sample included: • designed small-scale satellites in collaboration with NASA and the Air Force; • advanced the development of improved methods of validation for the disinfection of medical devices; • integrated Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies into MTU’s Foundry; • designed and prototyped an integrated circuit and smartphone App for a novel, low-cost biosensor; • and identified hardware and developed new methods of monitoring harmonic distortion levels on electric power transmission lines. And this was just a glimpse into the innovative work on display! In addition to teams representing the Enterprise and Senior Design Programs, we were pleased to see students from MTU’s First Year Engineering Program. “What truly stood out was not just the technical prowess of these projects, but also the students' ability to articulate their findings with passion and pride.” — Rick Berkey, Quality Manager, GS Engineering Engaging with the students to understand their approach, the challenges they overcame, and the significance of their work was a rewarding experience shared among all our judges. It's a testament to Michigan Tech’s commitment to preparing its graduates for success. Congratulations to all and thank you again Michigan Tech for this opportunity. We’re already looking forward to next year! #michigantech #studentsucess #judging #volunteering #gsengineering
