In our last post, we discussed the 10th key to success for navigating government contracts and grants: estimating costs. The next step is creating a performance management plan. Effective performance management is essential to ensure the government's objectives are met and the allocated funds are used efficiently. It involves a commitment to fulfilling the promises made in the proposal, meeting established deadlines, and achieving the project's objectives. Meticulous project tracking, adherence to contractual agreements, and timely reporting are essential to demonstrate progress and compliance. Ultimately, success in performance management is vital to maintaining a positive reputation and securing future government contracts and grants. Our team is deeply experienced in all aspects of government procurement, and we would be happy to help with all of your performance management needs. You can contact us at info@gtc360.com.

In the previous post, we discussed the ninth key to success for navigating government contracts and grants: writing your proposal. Next, you’ll need to make a cost estimation. Did you know that budgeting errors can lead to financial errors and even contract termination? Government procurement procedures depend on an in-depth and meticulous assessment of a project's financial needs to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and that the project can be completed within the assigned budget. Failing to provide a precise cost estimation can misallocate funds and hinder the successful execution of government projects. GTC 360° Advisors can help you ensure your resources are allocated effectively to avoid misallocation of funds. If you need any assistance in navigating this precise process, please contact us at info@gtc360.com.

In our last post, we reviewed the eighth key to success for navigating government contracts and grants: reviewing all the requirements in the government entity’s proposal process. Now, it’s time to start writing your government proposal. To get started, you’ll need to prepare a detailed outline of everything you would like to include. A strong government proposal is well-structured and clearly defines the project’s objectives, milestones, team, and how it aligns with the grantor's criteria. Proposals may also include needs assessments, detailed project plans, realistic budgets, and methods for evaluating outcomes. Your proposal should demonstrate a deep understanding of the issue and present a compelling argument for why your project is a viable solution. It should also convey a commitment to transparency, collaboration, equity, and sustainability, reflecting the organization's capacity to utilize grant funds effectively. If you require a skilled grant writer, our team of writers have experience across multiple industries and government agencies. Please reach out to us at info@gtc360.com to get started on a compelling and competitive proposal.

In our last post, we discussed the seventh key to success for navigating government contracts and grants: researching the goals, priorities, and objectives of the government entity where you are pursuing a contract or grant. The next important step is to carefully review all the requirements of the proposal process. Here’s a quick checklist of all the areas you will want to review: ✅ Financial forms and reporting ✅ Adherence to specific grant terms ✅ Staffing needs ✅ Related necessities Reviewing these areas will help you make sure your organization adheres to all stated requirements. We also recommend using a Compliance Matrix to help you track everything.  Take a look at our complete list of tips for government contracting and grants here: https://lnkd.in/gzmuJqih If you need any additional assistance in developing a capture strategy, our team of seasoned experts is here to help. In our last post, we discussed the sixth key to success for navigating government contracts and grants: rereading solicitations/program requirements. If you’ve thoroughly examined your solicitations/program requirements, the next step is to research specific government entity goals, priorities, and objectives. Then, compare these with your organization’s strengths and capabilities. Highlight these capabilities accordingly in the grant proposal to ensure the proposal is attention-grabbing and competitive. When drafting the proposal, emphasize your organization’s unique qualifications, past relevant experience, and accomplishments that set you apart from your competition. We advise using a Scoring Matrix. This tool helps determine your organization’s strengths and identifies potential weaknesses in the proposal process. Our team would be happy to develop and execute the right engagement strategy to accomplish your strategic goals. Please reach out to us at info@gtc360.com.
