Gun Lake Casino had the honor of sponsoring and participating in the Courage, Comfort, and Cocktails Fundraiser, hosted by Ele's Place. Ele’s Place provides essential grief support services to children, teens, and their families, completely free, making their work vital to our community. For this one-of-a-kind event, we contributed catering from our very own Shkodé Chophouse and auctioned off an exclusive VIP Package, helping to raise crucial funds for this amazing cause. It was an unforgettable evening, and we are grateful to be part of such meaningful efforts!

At Gun Lake Casino, we believe in supporting the well-being of our community, especially its most vulnerable members. That’s why we’re proud to donate $10,000 to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kent County, an organization providing essential services to children and families impacted by sexual abuse. Their multidisciplinary team works tirelessly to build trust and offer life-changing support through partnerships with law enforcement, Children’s Protective Services, the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office, the YWCA, and a dedicated internal team of experts. In addition to intervention services, the Center’s Kids Have Rights program empowers children and adults to recognize, report, and prevent child sexual abuse—an effort that is truly transformative. We are honored to contribute to such an important cause and stand with the Children’s Advocacy Center in their mission to promote healing, hope, and protection for those who need it most.

At Gun Lake Casino, we believe in taking care of our own. Through our Sunshine Fund, our team members come together to support colleagues experiencing tough times.
