H. Betti Team Members joined the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation to support the Sunrise Carnival for the Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island this week. The weather was perfect, and the event had the largest attendance all summer – 450+ children. The campers enjoyed a fun day of rides, games, prizes, and treats. AAMCF has been supporting the Sunrise Association since 2018. With their help, they have provided joy-filled summers to thousands of children whose lives have been impacted by cancer. This is the third year that H. Betti has supported the carnival. Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island – a program of a program of the Sunrise Association and the Friedberg JCC – brings the simple pleasures of childhood back to children struggling with cancer, changing months of loneliness and isolation into summers filled with sunshine, laughter and happiness. And because Sunrise is a day camp, it does all this while allowing the children to continue their medical treatment and enjoy the comfort and safety of their own homes at night.

Yesterday, our HBI team united in a meaningful partnership with Berkeley College #Newark Campus, under the guidance Luis Collazo, COO, and Eve Cortes, Head of People and Culture at HBI. The success of the day was driven by the exceptional efforts of Rob Zigmont, VP of Operations, Cliff Bradberry, Director of Technical Services, and HBI's dedicated Installation Team, who delivered and set up 3 arcade games, ready for the students to dive into.   Rob and Cliff took the time to share their career journeys with the students, highlighting the exciting opportunities within our company both now and in the future. Eve also led Diversity and Inclusion sessions, talking with students in small, focused groups. Amanda from our Marketing Department played a crucial role, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.   The day was rich with learning, connection, and most importantly, the smiles and enthusiasm of the students.
