Security, bullet resistant, blast, forced entry doors, windows, louvers, enclosures. Habersham is a custom security opening company that works with our clients to develop and manufacture products that meet their security standards however low or high. Habersham has a full line of performance security, windstorm, blast, bullet resistant (BR) and forced entry (FE) doors, windows, enclosures, louvers and roof/escape hatches that are accompanied with 3rd party testing with fire and fire egress options available where applicable. Specifications and details are available for all product types as requested. Habersham has worked with the following sectors to develop custom security solutions; military, port authorities, corrections, pharmaceutical, hospitality, petro-chemical, education, religious institutions, historic up-armoring/retrofits, residential, private/public corporations and financial institutions. Employee Spotlight This week we are introducing Shane. He has been at Habersham Metal since 1999 or 24 years! He started welding on the door line and has progressed into the Design and Manufacturing Team Lead. Today he is the leader of Inventor, the 3D mechanical modeling computer-aided design software. Originally from Franklin, NC he now calls Cleveland home. Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing, watching UGA and UNC football, and most importantly going on a long drive through the mountains. He first met his beautiful wife in 1994. Note: Picture on his first day in 1999.

Employee Spotlight Meet Shane Brooksher he is our IT guru. He has been at Habersham Metal for 9 years. He enjoys the family feel and comradery at Habersham Metal. He was in the Army and served in the US Intervention in Bosnia. He went to DeVry college and received his Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems in 2002 on the GI Bill. His greatest accomplishment in life is having his two girls. He lives in Alto. On Fall Saturdays you will find him cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Employee Spotlight! This week we are highlighting Mr. Jose Montalvo. He has been with Habersham Metal for 23 years! Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He moved to Mt. Airy in 2000. Currently he works in production, painting and finishing our doors. He is married with 5 kids and 11 grandchildren! His hobbies include watching his grandkids play local soccer and watching the sports teams of the Braves, ATL United, UGA, and the Falcons.

Employee Spotlight! This week we have Damon Brock. Son of last week's employee spotlight which was done on Joylee Brock. Growing up welding, his dad got him to join on at Habersham Metal the first time. He came back to Habersham Metal earlier this year, because he wanted to work with a nice and pleasant crew. Currently working in finishing and painting. He paints and restores cars during his off time. He was avid skate boarder in the southeast when younger, his highest moment was crashing into Tony Hawk! He calls Lula home, with this six-year fiancée and newborn son.

Currently he works in production, painting and finishing our doors. His hobbies include making low riders which turned into Jeeps in later years. He has a wife of 22 years and 4 kids.
