Hi Winona! My name is Tyler Steinley and I’m the new ReStore driver! I’ve been living in Winona since 2015, arriving here to attend Winona State University studying Music Business and Arts Administration. First through the arts, but then through other avenues, I was drawn into the community-centricity of our town, and have been involved in various education and arts roles since. Throughout college I worked at the East-end Recreation Center, and continued my work with Winona’s youth after graduation by becoming a substitute teacher at various schools throughout the district. This continued until I found this job, and I’m happy to still be in a capacity with the main goal is to benefit the surrounding community and those in need. My biggest passion has always been music. When I’m not driving the ReStore truck or in the back organizing furniture, you’ll be able to find me playing drums around the region in bands like Sleeping Jesus, Afflatus, and more; behind the soundboard at No Name Bar, recording and distributing music through my record label Ouids Records, and teaching after-school drum lessons. I’m looking forward to serving you, see you out there!

Please welcome our new Office and Finance Manager, Laura Pasmick! "My name is Laura Pasmick and I grew up in Ely, MN home of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona in December of 2021 with a degree in Environmental Biology and Sustainability. If I’m not working, I’m exploring, hiking, camping, identifying plants, or checking off the National Parks in the US. I spent three summers in Moab, UT whitewater rafting and this past year exploring Zanzibar, Tanzania and South Africa. After I came back from Africa, I became more aware of the housing needs here in Winona and wanted to act on it. After applying and securing a part time job here I was soon offered a full-time position! I am excited to say I took on the role of Office and Finance Manager at the begging of January! I love a challenge and Habitat has already provided me with the environment to learn, try, fail, learn from my failures, and grow. It has been an incredible experience so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!'
