Former #H4D team, Anthro Energy, was just awarded $24.9M by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to build the first U.S.-owned advanced electrolyte production facility in Louisville, KY. This facility will produce 12,000 metric tons of electrolyte annually, supporting the future of electric vehicles, defense, and consumer electronics. This project will not only strengthen America’s battery supply chain but also create over 500 jobs and support local community initiatives. We’re proud to see this former student team take on a key role in advancing clean energy! 🌱🔋 BMNT, NSIN - National Security Innovation Network, Common Mission Project, #CleanEnergy, #BatteryTech, #DOE, #Sustainability

Thank you to the Modern War Institute at West Point for picking up Caleb Stenholm, Justin Fanelli and my article on bringing Hacking for Defense® (H4D) to the service academies. With the return of great power competition comes a need for our uniformed leaders to understand how technology develops, and H4D is an outstanding tool for the services to use to start that educational foundation. Shout out to Nick Rich and the team who made this happen at USMA. United States Naval Academy I don't love West Point stealing a march on us, would love to see H4D in Annapolis too!

The H4D team hosted a booth yesterday at the vendor crawl during this year’s AIM Health R&D Summit (hosted by VelocityTX) in San Antonio, TX, aka #MilitaryCityUSA! It was an incredible convergence of academia, industry, and the military to propel healthcare innovation for our nation’s defense community. A special thank you to Ambassador William Gates for connecting us to engage in the space. We were able to engage with future problem sponsors and industry mentors.
