👋 For anyone who was recently laid off or looking to get into the gaming industry: How about instead of working for a massive corporation that sees you just as a number and risk more layoffs, you take a chance and do something different ❓ I get that not everyone can afford to take this risk, but I believe we are in such a pivotal moment in the #gamesindustry where indie game studios have access to more tools, resources and opportunities than ever before. I am looking to partner with others who are interested in taking a chance and joining HALbot Studios. My goal is to create high-quality, innovative games that prioritize storytelling, immersion, and unique gameplay mechanics. I love story-based, single player games that suck you in to an immersive world. Genres I would love to explore are horror and science fiction, but I love a good real-world story as well. If you are someone who is passionate about video games and wants to take a chance with me, I'm looking for: 🖥Lead Programmer - Primarily for Unreal Engine, but I am open to exploring other engines. I mainly need someone who is a good problem solver and can think outside of the box to create unique and interesting gameplay mechanics and share ideas for what they would like to create. 🕺Lead Animator - that can work with Unreal and create animations for both first person and characters. Story telling is very important to me and animating characters to look and feel realistic is vital to creating an immersive experience. ⭐Marketing Specialist - Someone who is outgoing and passionate about helping us form a marketing strategy to connect and find our audience. Someone that loves gaming and understands what gamers are looking for. What can I offer ❓ I will be honest. I can't offer you any money right now. I wish I could, but I am barely surviving as is. This is where the risk comes in. I believe that we can create a business plan that can lead to us earning a sustainable living in the near future. I have one main project that I am currently working on that is aiming for release in the next 6 months. If you come on board now, I can offer a revenue share if you help me finish this project. On top of this, I can offer ownership in a new studio that is starting from the ground up.
