It’s a front desk makeover at HALO! THIS makeover isn’t just plants and new chairs, it’s providing professional development for our Client Support Specialists. The team that oversees A TON of traffic, welcomes clients and accepts your donations! Truly the bloodline of our shelter. In August, our CSS’s took part in some improv exercises to learn skills and reliance on each other. Thank you Kristin Althoff for leading them through it! Welcome to HALO!

We are in the midst of a big floor/bathroom renovation project at HALO. There are times throughout the week that clients have to be out of the shelter all day. We are in need of donations for the following items peanut butter, jelly, fresh fruit, bread, granola bars, sandwich bags and sun screen or any other item you think would be adequate for a bagged lunch! They typically have a hot lunch but during this we want to be able to provide a grab and go option! All donations can be brought to HALO, located at 2000 DeKoven Ave or contact Gabrielle Hood at ghood@haloinc.org. Thank you!
