Hanson welcomes Amanda Vernier, a geotechnical specialist who works at our St. Louis office. “The most rewarding aspect of working on a project for me is the fieldwork,” she said. “Few professions offer the opportunity to explore new locations while witnessing projects come to life. I cherish the chance to travel, engage with the public and connect with new clients, all of which enrich my experience and deepen my understanding of each project.” Read more about Amanda: https://loom.ly/o5VCK8I. #geology #geotech #geologist

In 2016, the Transportation Research Board selected Hanson to update an Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) publication, ACRP Research Report 16: Guidebook for Managing Small Airports. Hanson improved the guidebook, making it more user-friendly. Since then, we've been involved in three other ACRP projects, producing ACRP Report 195: Best Practices for Airport Obstruction Management Guidebook, creating an online resource for information on airside-related topics and developing ACRP Research Report 260: Airport Energy Resiliency Roadmap, which was published this year #TBT #anniversary #airports #research #aviation
