Proposed NYC law exempts small hotels! Small, mostly non-union hotels in NYC (100 rooms or fewer) will be exempt from new hiring rules that larger hotels must follow. This gives "mom and pop" hotels more flexibility while ensuring key worker protections across the industry. The City Council is expected to pass the legislation next week. https://lnkd.in/e3HC4i85

Op-Ed Alert: Don't Let Red Tape Strangle NYC's Hotel Industry! New York's hotel industry is crucial for our economy, providing jobs, supporting tourism, and contributing billions in taxes.
