About a dozen for-hire charter boat captains who frequently fish around Western Gulf of Maine and Southern New England are now helping to collect detailed length and age information on Atlantic cod to improve fishery science around recreational fishing. We're pleased to partner with these fishermen, NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), and Harbor Light Software Inc. on an app that makes this all possible. And a special shoutout to our Ocean Program Director, Chris McGuire, for all his hard work on this project!
