While traditional coagulants like aluminum sulfate (alum) and ferric chloride (ferric) may be working well, there may be additional performance and cost savings associated with using a different coagulant. Our H-PAC coagulants can provide good performance at lower treatment costs through lower treatment dosages, less sludge generation, and less pH suppression. Potential cost savings include lower coagulant chemical spend, lower sludge hauling and disposal costs, and lower chemical spend on chemicals to raise pH, thus reducing total treatment costs. Other benefits include fewer deliveries, less aluminum and no iron added to the water, and easy handling, storage, and dispensing with no staining.
