I'm excited to share a new video we’re releasing today with Chicago Says Welcome as the DNC gets underway here, which we’re running as a digital ad around the convention locations this week. The video features an original poem by Chicago's incredible Poet Laureate avery r. young, showing how Chicagoans have rejected cynical attempts to use migrants as political pawns to divide our communities, and have instead stepped up to welcome newcomers. We're proud to have been named a Telly Awards Winner last week for our Storyteller Series with our partners at Climate Action Campaign DC. Congrats to our team involved!

As this election cycle ramps up, it's good to remember that "women are the most powerful voting block in the country!" Policies that help women and families help everyone. Still so proud of this Women are Voting campaign we made in partnership with Supermajority. Working with the all-women team who made this video was also one of the first collaborations that eventually grew into our partnership with (woman-owned) Novel Messaging — even more proof that when women come together, we can do anything.

💡A Novel Idea: Social media is mission critical for success. A lot of campaigns and organizations already invest a ton of time and resources into paid and earned media -- and while that's important, many people spend far more time scrolling on social media than watching ads or reading news. So why don’t we invest similar resources in social media programs? If we're going to secure the wins of the future, our media plans need to be multi-channel and connected to our targets’ media consumption habits.
