At this year’s Hardywood Oktoberfest, we’d like to add a new dimension to our “Brew with Purpose” call to action by expanding our focus beyond supporting those in need in our local community in partnership with Goochland Cares, to also support our neighbors in Western North Carolina to recover from the heart wrenching damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Through participation in the Pouring for Neighbors initiative in support of Western NC Hurricane Relief, Hardywood will donate $1 per pint of Hardywood Pils served at either of its taproom locations to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund (www.nc.gov/donate). You can also help by dropping off needed supplies, including non-perishable food, packaged water, and cleaning supplies, to the donation bins in front of Hardywood West Creek all Oktoberfest weekend, Friday, 10/4 - Sunday, 10/6. We will transport these donations to a designated supply pickup point in NC on Monday morning.

We have some exciting news to share! Hardywood Park Craft Brewery is introducing Kernza® Lager in partnership with Patagonia Provisions, the food and beverage division of outdoor apparel company Patagonia.  The Patagonia Provisions x Hardywood Kernza Lager is brewed with Tettnang hops, Perle hops, and certified organic Kernza. This beer is a crisp, delicious, malt-driven, and well-balanced lager. Read more at the link below ⬇️

Hard work pays off. We're proud to have won Virginia Craft Beer Cup medals for The Cruelest Summer, a delicious Juicy IPA, and Cafe Coco Foolery, one of our Family Tree Beer Club exclusive offerings. We're beyond excited about the recognition these two beers have received, and this wouldn't be possible without our incredible brewing, packaging, and quality assurance team. About the Role: The Quality Assurance Manager ensures Hardywood Park Craft Brewery maintains the highest level of quality through the creation and application of quality management systems for brewing, cellaring, and packaging. Additionally, this position will liaise with various departments throughout the brewery to ensure quality standards are maintained at every level, in every department.
