We’ve teamed up with World Central Kitchen to help provide meals and water to those affected by Helene. Over the next week, our team will be delivering food and water to the Fines Creek Community Center, Jonathan Creek, and The Pigeon Multi-Cultural Center in Haywood County. Today alone, more than 500 meals were prepped by our amazing Team Members, and 2,000 bottles of water have already been delivered! We’ll be sharing more information in the coming days about how the community can contribute to this effort. ______ World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit organization that quickly provides fresh meals to communities in crisis. Working with local organizations, restaurants, and food trucks, WCK gets comforting meals to those in need while also supporting local economies.

Last week, Harrah's Cherokee Casinos had the honor of being the Presenting Sponsor for the inaugural 🤝Pack to Give Back🤝 event with MANNA FoodBank at the Ag Center in Asheville. Our team of volunteers spent their time packing bulk food items and the event resulted in over 20,000 meals for distribution across the Western North Carolina and Qualla Boundary region. A huge thank you to MANNA FoodBank and all the volunteers for making this event a tremendous success.

We are thrilled to announce that Benny Graves, our Recruitment Services Supervisor, has won the companywide Caesars Founders Award for All in On Service! 👏 Benny's dedication to our foreign labor programs and his leadership in the Talent Acquisition department have been nothing short of exemplary. He ensures our foreign program Team Members have everything they need to succeed, in addition to his efforts in digitizing paperwork and streamlining onboarding, which have significantly improved our processes. As part of his award, Benny will be living it up in Las Vegas! He'll enjoy airfare, a luxurious hotel stay, a fabulous welcome reception, and so much more! Last week, we celebrated the grand opening of our 25,000 sq. ft. casino expansion, and what an incredible day it was! We captured the excitement of guests playing on our 300 brand-new slot machines and experiencing the highly anticipated opening of our WSOP Poker Room. But that's not all! The expansion also includes 8 additional table games and a stunning new 22-seat casino bar, offering more ways for our guests to enjoy their visit. And we're not stopping there! We're hard at work on our 12-story hotel tower, parking garage, and a host of luxurious amenities including a spa, pool, and rooftop restaurant. These exciting additions are set to be completed by the end of 2024, and we can't wait to share them with you! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to elevate our guest experience!

At Harrah's Cherokee Casinos, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Team Members from our group HERO (Harrah's Employees Reach Out), had an incredibly impactful Volunteer Month where we turned our focus to supporting our seniors! Here are some highlights from their recent efforts: 🍂 Cherokee Day of Caring: Our Team Members rolled up their sleeves and got involved in community projects, demonstrating our commitment to the well-being and improvement of the Cherokee community. 🚮 Roadside Clean Up: On Earth Day, our volunteers took to the streets to keep our roads clean and beautiful, showing our respect and care for the environment. 🍦 Ice Cream Social at Murphy Rehab and Nursing Home: We had the pleasure of bringing smiles and sweet treats to the residents in Murphy. This event was such a joy to be involved in. 🍔 Tsali Senior Citizen Center Cookout: We helped host a fun-filled cookout, providing delicious food and great company to our senior citizens. Thank you to all our amazing Team Members who volunteered their time and energy. Your dedication and compassion make a significant difference!
