Harrison LLP Partner Thomas Shapira, of the Chicago office, visited St. Louis this week and gave a presentation on “Shareholders and Ownership” to a local forum called The Business of Family Business Ownership (“BFBO”). Local business owner families, including non-active family members, attended the event at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School Knight Center. Harrison Partners Steve Daiker and Alan Singer, JD/CPA are BFBO Advisor Board members and Harrison is one of several local sponsors proudly supporting BFBO programming with topics ranging from mission statements to succession planning, philanthropy, and everything in between.
