Updates

  • At HAVIK we want to streamline and simplify getting more Operators into the training pipeline to improve skills, maintain currency and track progress. Last year we demonstrated that by networking our ATLAS and SCOUT kits, right out of the box, that JTACs, JFO, GFC, medevac, multiple pilots, with a single Instructor, can all train together in a Tactical Decision Exercise (TDE). As part of our HAVIK Support, we’re adding this new TDE setup walk-through (link below) to our video tutorials, showing how units with our kits can quickly connect them to recreate or expand training operations. Take a look here: https://lnkd.in/ep_KE-Cn If you missed our original TDE post, here a link to the 1-minute trailer: https://lnkd.in/erfxSTCV And here is a link to the full 45-min TDE from start to finish: https://lnkd.in/eYu_UPvS These training operations go beyond traditional Instructor / Student sessions to include multiple participants. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us anytime. Thank you. #JTAC #VR #VirtualReality

  • Thank you and congratulations to everyone who completed our three-day HAVIK Instructor Training (HIT), led by our own Taylor Luongo and Sean Mitchell. The HIT is designed to expand the knowledge base among JTAC trainers, ensuring they can fully leverage HAVIK’s capabilities, including: ✅ Full HAVIK system setup – hardware deployment & VR integration ✅ Mission execution using MACE & Joint Fires software ✅ Call-For-Fire (CFF) procedures & real-time communication ✅ Entity control & scenario planning for immersive training ✅ Advanced tools – VDL, Sand Table, ATAK integration ✅ Seamless system integration for distributed multiplayer scenarios – like this Tactical Decision Exercise – watch here: https://lnkd.in/erfxSTCV Interested in joining the next HIT session or learning more? Reach out to us – we’d love to have you at the next HIT!

Milestone Achievement for HAVIK & AFSOC! On February 10, 2025, HAVIK successfully delivered the first Authority to Operate (ATO)-compliant system to Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC)—a major leap forward in advancing Distributed Mission Operations (DMO)-capable training. This system is also the first to integrate the Varjo XR-4 Secure Edition Virtual Reality Headsets, now authorized for use in secure environments, bringing unmatched visual fidelity and immersion to Joint Fires training. With this breakthrough, HAVIK is pushing the boundaries of realistic, mission-ready simulation while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements. By Summer 2025, this system will be fully integrated into the DMO network, enabling networked, high-fidelity training across multiple locations and platforms. This achievement wouldn't have been possible without Varjo, whose collaboration and innovation have been instrumental in bringing cutting-edge VR technology into secure military training environments—and Dell Technologies, whose Precision 3680 Tower Workstation provides the high-performance computing power needed to drive these advanced simulations. A huge thank you to the HAVIK team, our partners, and AFSOC for making this a reality. Next-level Joint Fires training is here!

My first interview from the floor of I/ITSEC 2024. On my way in to the exhibition today I ran into two of my former business customers Bradley Denn and Andrew Street from HAVIK. Besides seeing their upgraded JTAC VR solution I also got to see a VR experience they have developed for the new Navy Seal Museum! It is a “day in the life of a SEAL experience - Very cool! Go Check HAVIK out at booth 313!
