A special mahalo to founders Meli James and Brittany Heyd for creating a space that uplifts our local talent and strengthens Hawai‘i’s economy. The energy and dedication on display were a powerful reminder of the impact our local businesses make every day.   At Hawaiian Host Group, we’re proud to be part of this movement and to stand alongside others committed to preserving our culture and supporting local economies. It's one of the many times during the year we get to see how creative (and extremely competitive!) our team members across locations are. They go all out!    This year was not different. After 174 annual membership luncheons, you'd think the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii is done innovating...   Yet, the opposite is true! Yesterday, we witnessed the presentation of the Chamber's 2030 Blueprint for Hawai'i. This economic action plan, presented by President & CEO, Sherry Menor-McNamara, is meant to help reverse the slowdown that has plagued Hawai'i’s economy in the post-pandemic era.   At Hawaiian Host Group, we’re committed to fostering and supporting economic growth in our local community. That’s why we proudly attend and support the Chamber's Annual Membership Luncheons to connect with fellow businesses, their leaders, and explore how can continue to innovate Hawai‘i’s business landscape.   A few of the highlights for our team this year were the introduction of our Chief Administrative Officer, Michelle Leon-Guerrero, to the Chamber's board, keynote speakers Mike Newquist, Neil Dorward, and Aaron J. Ever wondered what $12 million worth of chocolate-making equipment looks like? 🍫✨   We celebrated the blessing of our newly renovated chocolate factory in Honolulu. This was a significant milestone in our journey to enhance production and meet the growing demand for our delicious chocolates.   “This expansion is about more than just boosting production.
