#HawthorneCat presented the Honolulu Community College Diesel Technology Program a check for $3,000 on October 2nd. This donation is part of Caterpillar Inc.’s Dealer Excellence Education Partnership, which supports curriculum enhancement by giving partnered universities access to facilities, financial assistance, technical resources, documentation, and processes. Additionally, Caterpillar will double this gift, totaling $6,000 in total. During our visit, Doug Kaauwai (Service Operations Manager) and Keoni Isagawa (Leadperson), took the time to answer students’ questions and provided insight into their personal experience as technicians.
