Congratulations Ernestine and Michael St. Claire who welcomed little Maddox on August 24, at 8:30 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces at UCF Lake Nona Hospital. The couple are proud parents to six children ages 17, 8, 3, 2, 1 plus their new baby brother. “I come from a large family so it just feels natural to me,” Ernestine said of her growing family, adding that Maddox is the last baby. “I’m so happy to be here,” she said. “It’s close to home and I feel safe. I’m telling everyone to have their baby at UCF Lake Nona. Everyone has been so kind and accommodating. The doctors, all the nurses, all the staff – this place is amazing. I’ve been so impressed and have absolutely loved having my baby here. It’s been so much better than where I delivered before.” Ernestine has lived in Greater Orlando since she was 10, and along with raising her family she stays busy completing her nursing degree. What’s her secret? Ernestine meal preps to keep things orderly in her very busy household and has a positive and peaceful can-do attitude. That plus plenty of help from Dad Michael. “I love my big family - this has always been what I wanted.
