Novari Health has announced the implementation of a regional diagnostic imaging central intake system in Northwestern Ontario, with the hopes of “helping to improve access to care for diagnostic imaging services in the region”. Working with hospitals including Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC), the implementation will offer participating health services a central intake function, along with referral management, waitlist management, AI functions and analytics. Integration with hospital EHR and PACS systems will mean radiologists can upload requisition documents, which can then be easily accessed by medical imaging technologists and clinicians.
