In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the Latinx community’s cultural contributions and achievements, and recognize the vital role Latinx-led/serving organizations play in creating a more equitable King County.   Since 1978, Consejo Counseling & Referral Service has been instrumental in delivering culturally tailored behavioral health care in Washington. For our fall Equity Spotlight, learn how the Consejo on Wheels (COW) Program is building on this foundation by bringing essential behavioral health services to underserved areas, addressing financial and language barriers.   Read more about the COW program here: https://bit.ly/3XKVVTj

The HealthierHere Community Hub Launch Celebration was an unforgettable day. We came together to honor the vital role of Community Health Workers, celebrated the launch of our Hub in July, and deepened relationships with the individuals and organizations who share our commitment to advancing health equity in King County. We're excited to carry that same energy and spirit of connection into our Cultivating Connections Series this fall! Join us on October 7th and November 4th for two in-person afternoons of relationship-building, resource sharing, and updates on HealthierHere initiatives. We can't wait to gather again and continue to strengthen our ties with our partners and community. Register for the event here: bit.ly/HHCC24
