To kick off our celebration of American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE)'s Health Care Facilities & Engineering Week, we want to celebrate all the facilities professionals who collaborate with our building optimization team. Together, we make sure healthcare environments operate as intended and reach peak performance.    This year, HEAPY was honored to receive the Building Commissioning Association Excellence Award for our work on the Cincinnati Children's Critical Care Building! This state-of-the-art, 768,000 SF facility is setting new standards in pediatric healthcare with its advanced systems and patient-centered design. The Critical Care Building is also the first in the world to incorporate spectral lighting, developed by Cincinnati Children’s researchers to support healthy sleep cycles and growth in newborns.    Our commissioning services covered all major components, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and resilience across the entire building. This work was only possible because of the excellent collaboration between our commissioning agents and the facilities and operations professionals who worked with our team to create a sustainable and efficient healing environment for children and their families.   Thank you to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital facilities and operations professionals for this achievement!
