Bringing Quality Hearing Care to Anyone, Anywhere.

About us

We started as a team of two and after just 10 years, we are proud to be a team of more than 1,200 worldwide. We have built the fastest-growing hearing care company in the world. We were the first company to combine positive messaging and online marketing, a free phone consultation, and a network of top audiologists for unprecedented hearing outcomes. And we did it all with the lofty goal of removing the stigma around hearing care and delivering the best solution possible for our customers. Today, we are the clear market leader in online hearing care in every country that we operate in. From the start, we have chosen to build for the long term. We love what we do. What do we do? Deliver on our mission. We believe it is our purpose and duty to bring quality hearing care to anyone, anywhere. It’s why we get up in the morning, and why we try to build a better and bigger hear.com each and every day.

Fall in love with the problem, and the solutions will follow. From a young age, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful. Throughout my career—from consulting to startups—I was always searching for that spark, that idea worth pursuing. And it worked. During my time at BCG, exposure to different industries sparked my imagination and planted the seeds of inspiration. The idea for hear.com came to life during a healthcare project I worked on during my consulting days, where I saw firsthand the challenges in hearing care. The stigma around hearing care that could truly change lives fascinated me—it was a problem I wanted to solve. Together with my co-founder, we combined the power of research and expert insights from our network, and others in the hearing care space, to reimagine and revolutionize how people approach hearing care. This wasn’t just about starting a business—it was about creating a solution we deeply believed in. We began with a small pilot in 2012, testing our concept with minimal investment. The positive feedback validated our vision, confirming we were onto something big. With conviction burning like a bonfire, we dove in headfirst to build hear.com into what it is today. To fellow founders and entrepreneurs: Develop a deep connection to the problem you’re solving. Believe wholeheartedly in your mission—that belief will carry you through the toughest challenges.

Let’s cut to the chase: the real barrier to hearing care isn’t the price tag. It’s the stigma. Research shows that addressing hearing loss early can work wonders—from boosting mental fitness to reducing the risk of dementia. Yet, hearing aids carry an unfair burden of outdated stigmas. Concerns about appearance and social acceptance stop many from getting the solution they need. At hear.com, we’re on a mission to shatter these stereotypes. The truth is, hearing aids don’t age you or create barriers—they break them down. People feel younger and more vibrant when they’re not isolated by hearing issues. When they can fully and effortlessly participate in conversations, social gatherings, and events. That’s why we are relentlessly innovating hearing care. That’s we’ve poured our hearts into creating a supportive environment where every customer gets a tailored and personalized experience. Our consultations are deep dives to help our customers understand the vital importance of tackling their hearing loss. They are in-depth discussions aimed at finding the best individual hearing solution for each customer. Our mission? To empower individuals to make decisions that enhance their well-being. Because the benefits of hearing aids go beyond better hearing—they’re about reconnecting with life in full sound.
