We are proud to have the talented Natalie Shaw on our team as Director of Business Intelligence at HeartLand. Natalie and her team have developed proprietary analytic tools to unlock actionable insights via company-wide, regional and branch-level reporting dashboards. On Wednesday, Natalie delivered an outstanding presentation at the Lawn & Landscape magazine Technology Conference in Atlanta. She provided attendees with a step-by-step guide on improving their reporting during her session "Building Intuitive Reports for Operators." Our team had the privilege of participating in the National Association of Landscape Professionals Annual Renewal & Remembrance event at Arlington National Cemetery. This annual event allows us to honor our nation's heroes by beautifying their final resting place. HeartLand, represented by John Umphred and Meggie Snipes, SHRM-CP, along with Heritage Landscape Services team members Lanier, Cory, Dave Wilderman, Brandon Lanier, CSP and several other crew members, were proud to contribute our efforts. This week, we hosted HeartLand's first Internship Symposium! What an incredible event it was! Our team had the pleasure of welcoming some of the brightest young minds in the landscaping industry to our corporate office in Kansas City for a 3-day symposium filled with learning, networking and growth. From engaging with our leaders' presentations to their own innovative project pitches, our interns truly showcased their passion and dedication to shaping the future of the landscaping industry. As we conclude our time with our interns, we're filled with gratitude for their contributions and enthusiasm. Their fresh perspectives and energy will undoubtedly leave a mark on HeartLand and our Operating Companies, and we're excited to see what they will achieve at HeartLand and beyond! This week, leaders from both HeartLand and a few of our operating companies spent time on Capitol Hill, advocating for the H2B guest worker program with the National Association of Landscape Professionals. They engaged in meaningful discussions with our representatives, highlighting the critical role this program plays in sustaining the landscape industry. We were encouraged by the strong support and engagement from our representatives, who understand the importance of the H-2B program in meeting seasonal labor needs and supporting local economies.
