Hecker Fink LLP is delighted to welcome Marshall Miller back to the firm after having served as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice. Marshall will be based in the firm’s New York office but will maintain a presence in Washington, D.C. “I am delighted to return to Hecker Fink alongside exceptional colleagues, including Amy Jeffress and Mack Jenkins, who recently joined the firm to lead our D.C. and L.A. offices,” Marshall said. “This is a unique opportunity to help clients navigate their most critical challenges while staying true to my passion for advancing justice and the public good through the law. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues – old and new – to build on the firm’s exceptional track record.” During his most recent tenure at the DOJ, Marshall was a member of the Department’s executive leadership team, overseeing all personnel and activities, including its criminal, national security, civil, antitrust, and civil rights enforcement divisions and the U.S. Attorney community, as well as its law enforcement components and its Congressional and media relations arms. From that position, Marshall spearheaded the development and installation of non-partisan, common-sense white-collar crime and national security enforcement strategies. For his efforts at DOJ, Marshall received the Edmund J. Randolph Award, the Department’s highest honor, presented to an individual who made outstanding contributions to the DOJ mission. “Marshall’s return marks an exciting milestone for our firm,” said Sean Hecker. “His extraordinary record of public service, deep experience in government investigations, and trial expertise will be invaluable to our clients.
