👋 It’s been a while since I last posted, and I’m thrilled to finally share what our team has been passionately developing over the past three years. With my Co-Founder, Stephan Wirth, and our incredible team, we’ve been developing Dreamie, a bedside sleep companion designed to help us break free from our reliance on mobile devices while creating a platform focused on supporting better sleep habits. We’re achieving this by combining routine support, sleep-centered content, ambient lighting, and sleep monitoring into one super advanced, super delightful device. If you find your sleep disrupted by device addiction, stress, or restless nights, you’re not alone. Roughly 70 million people in the US are not getting enough sleep and without surprise, we now know that mobile devices have a heavy influence on this stat, especially among teens. Our mission is to focus on this issue. So why did I pivot from robotics to consumer health? Like so many, I’ve battled stress-induced insomnia for years, affecting my overall health. After exploring the market for solutions, I was disappointed to find that existing sleep-supporting products were either too simplistic or not fully aligned with what an amazing, empathetic user experience could be. We bootstrapped Ambient for two years, prioritizing user research & testing, expert feedback, and rigorous engineering and design. Recently, we closed our seed round, backed by an amazing group of angel investors. Our Beta program has been running for nearly a year, and now we’re gearing up for mass production and a launch later this year. As we prepare for this milestone, we’re expanding our awesome team, hiring for key roles in Growth Marketing, Software, and soon UX.
