Through a partnership with the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing, we’ve begun to research the health outcomes of Bream because we know access to creativity and wellness programs improves health outcomes. During our research of Bream users in the US and UK, we tracked cognitive stress and attention using EEG headsets. Over time their attention increased and stress decreased which has a protective effect against cognitive decline. We are excited about what the research is telling us thus far… Ready to take your engagement game to the next level? Share your comments below and reach out to learn how we can collaborate!

Our founder was a guest on the willGather podcast. They talk about her research as a Fulbrighter in Nepal. Never before shared stories. And they unpack all things social isolation, connection, and how our personal lives impact our work. Listen to the full conversation wherever you get your podcasts.

Multi-time founder. AARP & Techstars Founder Catalyst JP Morgan. Currently running Bream: connection-tech for older adults.

Last year, I gave my first pitch for Bream (ever!) onstage for a panel of judges and a scarily big audience. One of the judges was Ted Fischer. After the competition I chatted for a long time with Ted and it turns out we had a lot in common.... from solving for loneliness and our elder friendships to enjoying working out. We stayed in touch and recently Ted became a Bream advisor and champion. I'm delighted to have him in our corner and it feels particularly full circle when I reflect on how far we've come over the past year. Shout out AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP for hosting this pitch competition at What's Next Longevity Events that connected me with an incredible mentor. #pitching #mentorship #agetech

🧠 Embracing Social Connections for Cognitive Well-being 🧠 Did you know? Recent studies reveal a compelling statistic - there's a direct correlation between the lack of participation in social activities and cognitive decline among older adults. Fostering meaningful social connections is not just about enjoyment; it's a key player in maintaining cognitive health. Let's make a conscious effort to break the barriers of isolation and create inclusive spaces for our seniors to engage, share, and thrive. Whether through online communities, intergenerational connection, or local gatherings, each connection is a building block for a healthier and more vibrant aging experience. #CognitiveHealth #SocialConnection #HealthyAging #CommunityMatters
