Rebuilding Ukrainian Childhood, One Playground at a Time 💙🧒💛 The village of Tsyrkuny, just 15 miles from the Russian border, was almost entirely destroyed after more than seventy days of brutal occupation by Russian forces. Internationally banned cluster munitions reduced homes, schools, and public spaces to rubble. Today, nearly 90% of the town remains in ruins. And yet, despite this devastation, the people of Tsyrkuny are returning. Why? Because hope is stronger than destruction. Hope endures even in the face of unthinkable brutality.  So, HelpingUkraine.us (a registered 501(c)(3) in Atlanta) and Power in UA teamed up to bring something extraordinary to the children of Tsyrkuny: a new playground. But this is no ordinary play area; this is a sanctuary and a beacon of hope–a safe space where children enduring warfare can just be kids again. 🌟 Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have since delivered the same transformative and life-affirming rebuilding effort to Vysochynivka, another village in eastern Ukraine where many internally displaced people live and whose children have endured the same devastating hardships of war. This new playground offers something for every child: areas for small kids, a proper playground, and even basketball, volleyball, and an outdoor gym for the older children, teenagers, and even adults. Today, we are raising funds to build more playgrounds for children living in liberated areas of Ukraine. 🙏 How You Can Help:  Your donation will help us create more safe spaces where kids can grow, play, heal, and dream of a brighter future. Every donation, whatever the amount, brings us one step closer to restoring hope and joy for our beloved children. Together, we can give them the childhood they deserve. 💙💛Every bit helps! 💙💛 https://shorturl.at/LxCVI

🌍 Partnering for Impact: Helping to Provide Vital Amenities for Displaced Ukrainians 🇺🇦 In Kharkiv, thousands of internally displaced Ukrainians are living in dormitories that lack basic hygiene facilities. HelpingUkraine.us & Power in UA have teamed up to transform their living conditions for the better by introducing new sanitation infrastructure.   🚿🫧Many of these dormitories house between 100-300 people, and many have no access to proper hygiene facilities. 🎯 Aims of our joint project: - Installing at least one shower for every fifteen people - Modernizing all of the restrooms - Updating the laundry rooms and ensuring there are both washers and dryers available to further ensure proper cleanliness Now more than ever, we need your support to fund this life-changing initiative. 🇺🇦 HAPPY UKRAINE INDEPENDENCE DAY As we celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day, we reflect on the strength, resilience, and courage of the Ukrainian people. Today, we'd like to share a powerful message from Emory Morsberger, the founder of HelpingUkraine.us, who has been actively providing support to Ukraine's civilians impacted by the war since the beginning of the invasion: "Thirty-three years ago, Ukraine finally gained freedom from Soviet domination. They survived and thrived until the invasion in February 2022. In June 2022, I escorted a shipment of medical supplies into the war-torn country and promised 65 Ukrainian leaders that I would do everything possible to help them. Upon returning, I founded HelpingUkraine.US. Since then, we have shipped over $5 million worth of supplies, equipment, and aid to the warfront. We have ten partners working in dangerous places along the front to help refugees and children. Here is a link to my op-ed in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution: https://shorturl.at/NPIsL Please help us help them. Visit www.helpingukraine.us. Thank you!"
