Some common symptoms include: ✔ Persistent sadness, irritability, or anger ✔ Engaging in unhealthy or risky behaviors ✔ Self-harm or thoughts of self-harm ✔ Social withdrawal or isolation ✔ Declining school performance ✔ Changes in mood, personality, behavior, sleep, or eating habits When these symptoms persist, they can significantly impact a teen’s daily life, making early recognition and intervention crucial. Mental Health Matters: Start the Conversation Your mental health is just as important as your physical wellbeing, and it all starts with a conversation. Knowing where to turn—whether to a therapist, support group, or crisis hotline—can make a powerful difference in seeking the help you deserve. Understanding your treatment options empowers you to make informed decisions about your care, whether it’s therapy, medication, support services or holistic approaches like mindfulness, exercise, and self-care. Mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all, and finding what works for you is a journey—one that no one should have to take alone. Breaking the stigma around mental health starts with open conversations, education, and support. It’s okay to ask for help and to prioritize your well-being. Support is available, healing is possible, and hope is real. You are valued. You are heard. You matter. 💙 Henderson Behavioral Health offers behavioral health services in Broward, Palm Beach, Treasure Coast and Brevard counties.
