When we say putting on the NC Apple Festival is an all-hands-on-deck weekend...we mean it. Between 250,000-300,000 people visit our town of 15,000 residents over Labor Day weekend. Our Police Department, Fire Department, and Public Services Departments in collaboration with NC Apple Festival Volunteers, Downtown Hendersonville, and partnering agencies including Henderson County EMS, Emergency Management and Henderson County Rescue Squad put in long hours to plan and execute a safe and successful festival every year. Kudos to the men and women who are the engine of the Apple Festival! Your dedication is appreciated!
