More than 20 bakers have volunteered to bring their delicious cookies to enter the bake-off, where they will compete for prizes. Henricksen + Allsteel will collect donations for The Night Ministry, and each donation will get you a vote for People's Choice in the bake-off competition. This Veterans Day, we honor those who have served our country and spotlight one of our own: Keith Cooper, Principal and General Manager of Henricksen, New York. Reflecting on his time as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, Keith shares, "During my time in the military, I met people from every place imaginable, who were all so different. But even with all these different backgrounds and cultures colliding, we were all united in purpose. I try to instill that with my team at Henricksen today." Keith's military service taught him invaluable lessons about diversity, preparation, and mentorship. He believes that America's diversity is one of its greatest strengths and applies this principle in his leadership today. His experience also taught him that preparation is key, a discipline he brings into every aspect of his work at Henricksen. Thank you, Keith, for your service and your leadership!

The Madison Metropolitan School District embarked on a multi-phased renovation project to transform their K12 schools into 21st-century learning environments while preserving historical features. The district aimed to create flexible, inclusive spaces that cater to diverse learning preferences, updating areas like cafeterias, libraries, and collaborative zones to reflect a college campus vibe. Henricksen provided tailored solutions for different areas, including classrooms, administrative offices, media centers, cafeterias, music rooms, special education spaces, and physical education areas. Each classroom features tables with the same laminate, allowing pieces to be interchanged across campuses. While the focus was on modernizing the furniture, thoughtful reuse of certain pieces, such as art tables, was integrated to reduce waste and help stay within budget.
