For those affected by Hurricane Helene and are in need of access to personal hygiene care, showers, restrooms and laundry services, personal hygiene trailers will be temporarily available at 4054 Shoal Line Blvd, Hernando Beach, FL, 64607, until further notice.
For reference, this is where the old R Beach restaurant was located. Must bring your own soap, towels, laundry detergent, etc.

Feeding Tampa Bay will be doing an Emergency Food Distribution at the Family Resource Center, 7442 Shoal Line Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34607, Monday, September 30, 2024, and Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm.

The FRC is OPEN TODAY from 9am-5pm at the Weeki Wachee Area Club at 7442 Shoal Line Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34607. This center will be open daily throughout the week.

As of September 29, 2024, the Hernando County Executive Policy Group has extended the Local State of Emergency declaration for Hernando County, PROCLAMATION NO. 2024-05.
This declaration provides Hernando County Government the authority to take action as needed to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our community. This includes making emergency purchases, obtain additional resources, renting equipment, hiring workers, utilizing volunteers, etc. The Local State of Emergency will be in effect for seven days, or until rescinded.
