Last week I watched a video from Lara Acosta and she made a great point
"Most people on LinkedIn don't actually know who you are"
I've been on LinkedIn for over 10 years, but I've never introduced myself - so here it is
Hi! I'm Bobby 👋
→ A proud father, husband and son
→ An Iranian immigrant, raised in London and living in Hong Kong
→ I work for the best global workplace advisory and innovation company - The Instant Group
→ I am a community advocate ❤️
→ I run Heroes Of Hong Kong, which raises awareness for charities and social enterprises in the city I have fallen in love with
→ I am undergoing my International Coaching Federation ACC qualification to become a business leadership coach through Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL)
→ I donate 100% of my coaching proceeds to Spiral Skills CIO UK based charity that supports under privileged youths in London
→ I write blogs and make videos around sales, business development and leaderships topics Think Big Coach
→ I love my rescue dog Pretzel, who will often be part of my content
→ In whatever spare time I can squeeze out after all of the above - I DJ across various clubs and festivals in Hong Kong
💫 Who Do I Help?
As you can see, I take pleasure in providing service to others. I therefore won't put myself in one category bucket.
But these are perhaps the people that may find value from me:
↳Young people starting out their career in sales
↳Managers of sales teams struggling to get the best results
↳Businesses that need help to explore better office space solutions
↳Charities in Hong Kong that would like a spotlight on social media
Things you won't see from me
❌ Gym selfies
❌ Captain obvious advice
❌ Random life quotes on billboards
Things you will see from me
✅ Structure, detailed and specific content around sales, business development and leadership improvements
✅ Videos of me having a laugh at my own expense
✅ Photos of the beautiful landscapes in Hong Kong
Last and slightly sad point
I've had an overwhelming amount of support and positive accolades over the past few months from people who value my content, but I've also had some feedback about being 'cringe' or 'attention seeking'
I welcome all feedback on how I can improve both as a creator and as a human, but I am genuinely putting my heart and my late laaate nights into everything you see (remember, I have a newborn too!)
So, more love and less hate is all I ask for in return
Thank you!
