“These are special people here; they’re my people.” -Dolly Parton, Dreamer-in-Chief As communities across the Appalachian region continue the daunting cleanup efforts from Hurricane Helene, Dolly announced a $1 million donation to the Mountain Ways Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing immediate assistance to Hurricane Helene flood victims. We are joining Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show and The Dollywood Foundation with a combined matching $1 million contribution to the Mountain Ways Foundation. We encourage anyone with the ability to donate or volunteer at mountainwaystn.org/ In conjunction with the city of Pigeon Forge, we are also serving as a donation-drop off for the following items: lids, tarps, shovels, rakes, trash bags, work gloves, masks, cleaning wipes, diapers, baby formula and food, can openers, first aid supplies, personal hygiene items, kitty litter, new socks and underwear, clean towels and blankets, laundry detergent, pet food and hand sanitizer. The collection occurs now thru Oct. 13. Guests visiting Dollywood with donations can take items to Dollywood’s Front Gate. Non-Park guests donating be directed to Guest Drop-Off.

Wild Adventures Theme Park was proud to host Holistically Anchored, a non-profit providing mental health resources to underserved populations in South Georgia, recently for a special meet & greet with the Harlem Globetrotters. Bull, Sunshine, and Sky took a break from their Summer Skills Showcase to sign basketballs, share tips and tricks, and dazzle with their prowess and positive messages of personal growth.
