In honor of September’s National Preparedness Month, we want to take a moment to recognize Les Redington, Fire Chief and EMT at HF Sinclair’s Tulsa Refinery’s Fire Department, for his recent recognition by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians for achieving 20 consecutive years of National EMS Certification. This is a tremendous honor held by few EMS professionals. By maintaining his National EMS Certification and regularly completing continuing education courses, Les has shown his dedication to providing exceptional prehospital emergency medical care. Congratulations to Martin Keenan on his appointment to the NLGI (National Lubricating Grease Institute) Board of Directors. Martin is part of HF Sinclair’s research and development team within our Lubricants & Specialties business segment. His industry knowledge and experience in formulating and supporting our Petro-Canada Lubricants brand and grease products will be a valuable asset to the board. On August 17, the town of Sinclair, Wyoming, and the Parco Refinery came together for a centennial celebration! Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without our people and the support of the people from the town of Sinclair. We are honored to be a part of and serve the Sinclair community. In recognition, the HF Sinclair Corporate and Refining Leadership team hosted a breakfast for state, local and federal officials. This event provided an opportunity for HF Sinclair to engage and solicit feedback from the community. Following the breakfast, citizens of Sinclair and the greater Carbon County area attended a parade and the opening ceremonies. During the opening ceremonies, Jim Ruble, Vice President and Refinery Manager, gave a detailed history of the HF Sinclair Parco Refinery and acknowledged the many contributions our employees both past and present have made to the Wyoming economy. To celebrate, attendees enjoyed activities at the carnival featuring live music, face painting, a street magician, door prize drawings and much more. #DINO #anniversary #centennialcelebration

Last month, HF Sinclair’s Amsterdam facility, a part of our Lubricants & Specialties business, celebrated 1,000 days without a lost time injury! This is an impressive accomplishment for the segment.
