Our team was proud to take part in The National Women's Shelter Network conference, contributing to important discussions on shelter models and education. Our Executive Director, John Henry Greenwood, moderated the "From Shelter to Stability" panel, where leaders in the field shared innovative, trauma-informed approaches for families experiencing homelessness. Our Managing Director of Comms & Policy, Linda Bazerjian, joined a panel on strategies to help sheltered school-age children succeed, highlighting insights from our Afterschool & Recreation program at Saratoga Family Residence. We wrapped up the week at the NWSN’s press conference, where they shared their Safe Shelter Saves Lives campaign to raise awareness about the hidden homeless—women, families, and children.
