Since it’s start in 2018, the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals (YP) seeks to empower, connect, and develop individuals ages 21-39. HICC YP provides personal development and networking opportunities through their Lunch & Learn Survival Skill Series, Exec-Connect events, and of course, their popular pau hana networking events.

Her innovative approach and passion for social justice have transformed countless lives through outreach, housing solutions, and comprehensive support services. But Brandee's impact extends far beyond her day job. She serves on multiple boards, including HMSA Foundation and Hawai’i Island Community Health Center, championing community health and social progress. She and her husband Patrick, have four young adult children, one grandson and one more on the way. For Brandee, being “grandma” is the best job ever!   • Let’s give a round of applause to our Community Service Awardee, Kellie Miyazu!✨ A dedicated artist and educator, Kellie has been transforming lives through art. With a BA in Art from University of Hawaii at Hilo and studies at California College of the Arts, she's now a Board member, Graphic Designer, and Youth Education Director at East Hawaii Cultural Center. As the creator of the Youth Arts Series, she's inspired over 2,000 keiki, filling a crucial gap in art education. 🎨 Kellie's impact extends beyond the classroom—she's active in the Downtown Hilo Museum Square, Downtown Improvement Association's Graffiti Busters Committee, and Hawai'i Island Youth Arts Coalition. Kellie is also a former COO of HAWAII SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM. Kellie's commitment to art education is transforming Hawai'i's cultural landscape, empowering keiki with creative opportunities, enriching local schools' curricula, and inspiring the next generation of local artists.
