Shining Hope Farms will host its 4th Annual 5k/10k Salute Trail Run at their picturesque Conover farm on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. This event is dedicated to honoring Veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and those we lost on 9/11. This event presents a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to our heroes and enjoy a day immersed in nature. HSM is proud to sponsor this occasion, celebrating our heroes, and we are thrilled to have our inaugural team participating in the 5k and 10k races. The run supports Shining Hope Farms' Veterans program, Saddles and Salutes, across all three locations. Participants are encouraged to form teams and raise funds to Sponsor a Service Member—each dollar raised contributes to an annual scholarship through Saddles and Salutes.

What started as a single location’s effort has now expanded to include all nine Hickory Metro Area locations. This year, in the spirit of charity and collaboration, we launched a company-wide campaign across all HSM locations, along with a school supply donation drive.
