High Point Market Authority (HPMA) announces “Style Spotters Spotlight,” a new twist on the trade show organizer’s signature Style Spotters program, naming TV design stars Galey Alix and Mikel Welch as this season’s Fall Market headliners. Alix is a former Goldman Sachs executive turned executive producer of HBO Max’s “Home in a Heartbeat with Galey Alix.” Known for her empathetic communication style and surprise approach with homeowners, as well as for viral videos attracting over five million viewers, Alix is ranked fourth on a list of the world’s most influential renovators, according to Vogue magazine. Welch has earned recognition from leading publications Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, and House Beautiful for interior design projects, including his room in the 2024 Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York. This year, Welch added an Emmy to these accolades for his role on the Netflix series, “Hack My Home.” The range of his TV work includes greenroom designs for VIP guests like Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Halle Berry and more. Together, Alix and Welch will explore showrooms across the 13-block Market District during the October trade event, sharing their favorite product picks, showroom photos and collection launches on social media. The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) announces Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD) and Funk You as this season’s Center Stage headliners for Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27. HPMA has partnered with City of Hope, the presenting partner for Sunday’s evening concert. The supporting sponsor for Saturday’s performance is Interior Design Society. “We’re delighted to showcase these two performing groups at Center Stage for Fall Market,” says Tammy Covington Nagem, president and CEO of HPMA. “After registering to attend the trade show in October, mark your calendars to enjoy two nights of music, food and Market friends.” The evening concert is only open to registered High Point Market attendees. A valid Fall 2024 Market pass is required for entry. Doors open at 6:30pm before the concert begins at 7pm. Early entry for buyers starts at 6:15pm. Entry for ages under 15 is not permitted. Complimentary food and beverage will be provided.

Qualifying registrants will be issued a Market pass, which is required for entry into buildings and showrooms across the 13-block Market District. Guests who register prior to October 11 (or September 27 for international attendees), will receive their Market pass in the mail at no charge. Registration assistance is available by contacting the High Point Market Authority directly at (336) 869-1000 during normal business hours (ET), or by emailing registration@highpointmarket.org. Online registration for Fall Market will remain open until 5pm ET on October 23, also at no charge. After this date, guests will register onsite during the event and pay a $30 processing fee.
