Wyoming's Public Service Commission is reviewing a regulation that could increase electricity costs for residential customers and small businesses. This change would allow large new businesses to bypass the local grid, shifting the burden of grid maintenance to you. Your co-op works with large energy users to keep electricity affordable and reliable. Help us protect these benefits by opposing this regulation. What a great day it was!
Our Tri-State executive team had the privilege of visiting High West Energy in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, where we connected with dedicated members like Jerry Burnett, a former Tri-State board member and owner of Burnett Farm. This large dairy operation, producing an impressive 60,000 gallons of milk daily, showcases the critical role reliable electricity plays in modern agriculture. This tour not only highlights our commitment to reliability but also emphasizes our role in supporting innovative technology that drives the agricultural sector forward. Together, we’re not just providing energy; we’re powering the backbone of rural communities. #BetterTogether #CoopFamily #Cooperative #Wyoming #TriStateCoop

Thank you to the Wyoming Air National Guard for hosting Discovery Days last week! It's one of our favorite events where we educate educators and students about the electric industry. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by and a huge thank you to our safety director and linemen who helped make this happen!

We truly are grateful to be among such outstanding cooperatives!
In collaboration with Basin and several of our members, we were proud to donate $22,000 to the 26th Annual Cattleman’s Ball in Scotts Bluff County, Neb. The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska is a charity that raises millions of dollars for cancer research. Ninety percent of the profits support the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha, while 10%is donated back to local health and wellness programs. Held in a different, unique location each year, the Cattlemen’s Ball allows host communities to showcase their area of the state. Supporting the community is a core principle for all cooperatives, and it is a privilege to contribute to this cause alongside Chimney Rock PPD, High West Energy, Midwest Electric, Northwest Rural PPD, Niobrara Electric Association, Panhandle Rural Electric Membership Association, Roosevelt PPD, and Wheat Belt Public Power District. Our 87th Annual Meeting is this week, and we are so excited! We are holding our annual meeting virtually this year, which we have done for the last two years, and we have had great attendance. Does anybody else hold virtual annual meetings? If so, what do you do to bring the same experience to them in the comfort of their homes?

It's Military May, and while we always appreciate those who serve and have served our country, we like to bring special attention to them this month. This year, we hosted our very first barbecue at our on-base shop, and it was a wonderful time! More posts will follow, but we want to thank everyone who helped, sponsored, and came to enjoy the day. Stay tuned for more updates! 💙 ❤️
