Once a quarter, the Truckload Carriers Association break-out groups meet to discuss various topics. This quarter, the topic was Safety. Each company in the TC01 puts in a few bucks, and the best idea wins. CONGRATULATIONS to Raul S. (Pictured with Jack P., TC01 group leader) and the Hill Bros Safety Team for bringing home the gold with their Yellow Tag-Pre-Trip project. When we started it, 10% of the drivers found hidden yellow tags on the equipment. Now, 80% are seeing them and winning prizes. Word of mouth across the fleet is changing behaviors. Our goal is to get to 90% or better. Best of all, the evidence suggests that this initiative correlates to reducing Vehicle Maintenance points issued during inspections. #hillbros #TCA #truckingsafetymatters

In the main conference room at the Lincoln, Nebraska American Job Center, they have a "Wall of Fame", telling the story of past participants, who came through the office, enrolled in a program, and after completion, went into the workforce and are now thriving. Five of the nine pictures are from participants who came to Pro-Fleet and obtained a Class A CDL, and four of those five are from Community Correction of Lincoln. We couldn't be more proud. Sarah Talbitzer – Sarah is our 2nd ever 3-time winner and this is not by accident! From the time Sarah hits our floor at 6:45- 7am, she is ready to make an impact. Very few in this building want to WIN more than Sarah. She has a talent for quickly building relationships with carriers and then launching into selling them on why they should partner with us on freight moves daily. Her desk is always well organized and she is eager to help her teammates grow/be successful. Sarah lives many of our core values but the one that comes to mind first is Being Better Every day.
