Just in time for the #Olympics, it turns out we have a champion of our own! Assistant State Attorney Lauren Pasqua was honored with the Champion Advocate Award this week! She won for her outstanding performance at the Gerald T. Bennett Prosecutor/Public Defender Trial Training Program.   Since 1979, the University of Florida College of Law brings together young Assistant State Attorneys and Public Defenders to hone their trial skills for this week-long program. We are proud to have Lauren on our team!

Assistant State Attorney Mike Lennon, Chief of our Economic Crimes Unit, presented to colleagues from across the state at the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association Winter Education Conference this week. He spoke about Florida's identity theft statute.
