Earlier this semester, the Hillside Ventures STEM Fund had the incredible opportunity to meet with UConn Alum and Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Rectangle Health Michael Peluso. Our analysts loved learning about Peluso's background, entrepreneurial experiences, successes with Rectangle Health, and lessons learned in how to scale and build a business. He additionally provided invaluable advice in how to assess early stage companies for select investment opportunities. We are grateful for Michael and Rectangle Health's hospitality, and are excited to continue collaborating with them as we move forward.

Two weeks ago, we sent a team to the Northeast VCIC (Venture Capital Investment Competition). Our team competed against schools from all over the country, and won second place!
